The Newton-Trelawny Management Midget AA team
traveled to Barrie
January 8th – 10th to capture the tournament championship
of the Glenn Bellerby Memorial Tournament with a 4-1 victory over
the Hamilton Huskies.
Midget AA win the Glenn Bellerby Memorial Tournament
The Newton-Trelawny Management Midget AA team participated in the Glenn Bellerby Memorial Tournament in Barrie January 8th – 10th.
The boys had an excellent tournament, going undefeated in all 6 games. The first two games ended up in ties (3-3 for both). They went on to win both games Saturday to put them into first place. The semi-final game was won with an O/T goal to get them into the finals against Hamilton.
