Our Oshawa Minor Peewee AE team has now advanced to the
finals of the OMHA!
The team had faced a number of well matched series, and it has not been easy. During the Lakeshore series against Clarington and battling viruses in the dressing room, which took players out of games. The team was able to take the match up to double overtime in the sixth game to win it.
The team moved on to the quarter finals where they faced a rematch of last years semi final Kingston Canadians. In similar fashion, like last year this match up went to a deciding game 5, where our Minor Peewees were able to hold them scoreless in a 2-0 victory!
This brought the team into a semi final match up against the Orillia Terriers. The first game looked like Oshawa was going to take the series quickly with a 6-0 victory, however Orillia proved to be a team that would fight back by holding Oshawa to a 2-2 tie after 3 periods in the second game. In overtime Oshawa was able to come away victorious. In the third game the teams found themselves at 0-0 after three periods. In overtime Orillia was able to take the victory, forcing Oshawa to travel north one more time. In the fourth game our Minor Peewee AE's proved to have what it takes, with a convincing 6-1 victory to take the OMHA semi final victory!!!
Our Minor Peewee AE team is now going to take on the Milton Winterhawks and would like to invite everyone out to support and cheer on the team during this exciting time!

- March 15 at Campus Ice pad 1 at 12:00pm
- March 21 in Milton at 12:30pm
- March 22 at Delpark Pad 1 at 4:30pm
- March 28 in Milton at 2:30pm
- March 29 at Delpark Pad 4 at 4:15pm
