2007 Oshawa Minor Generals Golf Tournament
Folks .. Thanks to all that attended the 1st (soon to be annual) '07 Oshawa Minor Generals Golf Tournament.   This was a huge success from all aspects, but most importantly we raised $10,915. The weather held off, the drinks were cold, The Generals and the Mayor John Henry showed up and didn't disappoint, Kedron Dells was extremely well organized and did a fantastic job in preparation and dinner .. and we had 128 golfers hit the links.

By working together across 4 teams, we were able to create a a fundraiser that wasn't "intrusive" and completely voluntary, but still selling out or close to it (92%).

Of course this couldn't have been done without our countless sponsors (22 hole sponsors), our volunteers on the course and the organizing committee (Rob Hercia, Jared Stevens, Elana Stevens, Phil Brown, Doug Liddle, Arend Wakeford and Brian Pickard).    There is a link below to the Rogers TV coverage on the event.
