If game 1 was any indication of how this series will go, then it could be a long one.
The underdog Minor Bantam Gens traveled west down the 401 to take on the highly ranked Ajax Pickering Raiders, in Game 1 of the OMHA semi finals. The winner of this series moves on to the OMHA Championship tournament. The game featured many great saves at both ends of the ice. The Gens scored at the 9:46 mark of the 3rd period to take a 2-1 lead, only to give one back just 2 minutes later. An exciting 10 minute sudden victory overtime solved nothing and Gens walked away with a 2-2 tie.
Game 2 is back in Oshawa Tuesday March 13 at 8:30pm, Legends Pad 1. Mark that on your calendar and come on out and watch some exciting hockey.
