On to the ETA Championships!!
The Bantam AAA Minor Generals are heading to the ETA Championships. After a hard fought, disappointing defeat, in the first round of the OMHA playoff's, the Bantam AAA Gens have re-grouped to win their round robin playoff and will now head to the ETA Championship Series vs Barrie.
After a season record of 24-10-2, the Gens finished 2nd place and took on a good Kingston Frontenac team, in the 1st round of the OMHA play downs. The series went the distance of 5 games, 3 of which, went to OT. The Gens were eliminated in OT in the series finale.
As they licked their wounds, they started a round robin series vs Central Ontario and Whitby Wildcats. After dropping game 1 to Central Ontario, the Gens picked up steam and won 3 straight to push them into the ETA Finals.
