Season Begins
Oshawa Generals Minor Midget AAA regular season has begun.

As we start the regular season we are 1-2-0 after the first week.   We came out of the gates a little slow. Started off with our first game against Central Wolves with a 4-1 loss and our second game against Ajax Raiders with a 5-0 loss.
Despite the slow start, we continued to work hard at practice taking some positives from those two games. With some minor adjustments to our lineup and special teams they came back with a very nice comeback win against Kingston yesterday, 5-3!
Started the game off slow but started to come around playing our game late in the second. Oshawa was down 3-1 going into the third period but remained strong starting off the third with a quick goal to make it 3-2.  After some stellar play by our goalie - Cam Johnston and killing off a string of penalties we went back to work and tied the game at 3.  12 minutes left in the game we turned on the jets went up 4-3 and the sealed the deal with an empty net goal!

McGrayne was on fire yesterday netting a HAT TRICK with some great feeds and support form his line of Bailey and Smith.  Smitty dominated the face off circle yesterday only losing one draw. Our line of Thompson, Kuzenko and Engelbert keep Kingston on their heels all game with relentless pressure and forecheck.
Our blue line was solid again last night making nice first passes out of the zone and shutting down the Kingston flip in the NZ.
Henderson and Rae shut them down on the PK and Rae potted the empty netter at the end!

With Liotti, Rumolo and Lamanna out of the lineup a BIG Thanks to our AA team for their help sending up Tyler Boyle at center and Nicholas Gibson on the point! Both played a great game for us.. thanks boys!

See you at the Rink!
