Special teams was the name of the game, as the Gens gave up a short handed goal and a 5-on-3 power play goal before scoring a power play goal of their own. After a hard fought battle, the Gens came up short, falling 2-1 to a strong Ajax team. After the Gens fell down 2-0, N Gibson sniped a beauty late in the second to bring the Gens within one. But the Gens couldn't muster the tying goal, despite some strong late game pressure while short handed. J Bryan made 22 saves in the loss.
