Oshawa Generals 5 at Cambridge Hawks 3
The Gens stamped their ticket to the semi-finals by completing an undefeated round robin portion of the tournament with a 5-3 victory over a tough Cambridge Hawks team. Spencer Robertson tallied twice, while Carson Martin and Matthew Dearborn also tallied to help the Gens jump out to a 4-0 lead. After giving up a couple of breakaway goals, the Gens settled down and took a 4-2 lead to the intermission. Brayden Farrow sniped an insurance marker early in the third, and the Hawks scored late to finish the scoring in a 5-3 game. Jayden Bryan made 41 saves for the victory.
The Gens now face the Kitchener Rangers for the right to play in the finals.
