Last saturday, November 10th, the Minor Atom A team held their fundraising pub night at Simcoe House Ales and Grill. The night was a huge success!
With an incredible parent group putting in hours of hard work, the Minor Atom A team was able to have a very successful pub night. There were a ton of raffle prizes with the majority of the prizes having a value of over $100. The silent Auction was a huge success as well with over $400 being paid out. We would like to say thank you to all those that attended and also a huge thank you to Derek Smith who is the owner of Simcoe House Ales and Grill. This season and last, Derek has been a huge help to our team in ensuring we raise as much money as possible! Thank you once again Coach Derek!!! We were even able to present our main team sponsor, Oak Ridge Building Solutions, with a gold medal from our gold medal win at the Lake Placid tournament. Owner Craig Robbins, who has been a huge supporter and fan of our team this year, was on hand to accept the medal. On behalf of the whole team I would like to say a huge thank you to Craig and everyone at Oak Ridge Building Solutions.
We are now setting our sights on November 30th which is when we are holding our poker night. This is going to be a great night with various prizes, dinner and a fantastic tournament of poker. Please reach out to Coach Craig if you are interested in joining us for this event -
