Oshawa Generals Midget AAA Compete it Titans Tournament
Oshawa Generals Midget AAA competed in the Toronto Titans 7th annual Major Midget Tournament this past week.
Although being down a couple players already headed into the tournament and losing a couple as the tournament went on, it was an excellent start to the 2019 / 2020 season going 1-2-1.
The boys played Toronto Marlboros 2-1 L, Vaughan Kings 4-1 L, Michigan Elite 4-1 W, and the Kapuskaging Flyers 2-2 T.
Awesome job for an almost entirely new team this year! Everyone's game improved and got stronger as the tournament went on. Our D were getting depleted as well but stepped up huge battling through and playing outstanding. Mizen and Pronesti were shot blocking kings sacrificing big time throughout, especially on the PK.
Kyle Smiths line with D'Souza and Wells were dominant throughout the tournament, and Smith lead the team in points.
Looking forward to our home opener September 26th Vs Kingston @ Campus Ice Center 8PM...
