Minor Bantam AA - 2019 Chatham Regional Silver Stick Tournament Champions
Congratulations to the Oshawa Generals Minor Bantam AA team on winning the Chatham Regional Silver Stick Tournament the past weekend December 13-15!!
The coaching staff is incredibly proud of the strength, character and determination of this team. Although their season has had numerous setbacks and challenges, through the course of the weekend this team started to believe in themselves and believe in each other. They worked hard, battled hard and never gave up.
After an exciting semi final win over the top seeded Milton team, Oshawa took on the Hamilton Huskies in the tournament final. The nail biter game went into sudden death over time and Oshawa closed the deal with 5:43mins remaining on the clock, winning 2-1.
Congratulations to the players and coaches and a huge thank you to the parents for all their support! The Minor Bantam AA team will be participating in the Newmarket Silver Stick Finals Tournament in January. GO GENS GO!!
