Clarington Toros 4 at Oshawa Generals 1
After a well battled first period, the Gens' second period struggles reared their head, and the Gens gave up 2 second period goals en route to a 4-1 loss at the hands of the Toros.

After a fairly even first period, the Gens slipped a little in the second, getting outshot 13-5 and giving up a pair of goal to trail 2-0 at the intermission.  After a suspect non-icing call lead to the Toros 3rd goal, L Pye struck on the power play to bring the Gens within two, but the Toros barred the door and added an empty netter to take a 4-1 victory.

T Turcotte was solid in goal making 22 saves in the loss.
