The Gens had a tough night, dropping a 5-0 decision to the Wildcats.
The Gens showed a little fatigue from back-to-back games on the weekend.
After a strong 1st period saw the teams scoreless, the Wildcats opened the scoring on the powerplay early in the 3rd. Halfway through the 2nd, T Turcotte produced the Highlight of the Night with an unbelievable split blocker save on a cross-crease pass. The Gens surrendered one more in the 2nd to go the the break down 2.
The 3rd period saw the Wildcats pot 3 more goals on the way to the 5-0 final.
Turcotte made 33 saves in the loss.
