2nd Annual 2007 Golf Tournament - Success!
For the 2nd straight year, the four 2007 Oshawa Minor Hockey Teams got together and through a successful golf tournament. The weather was great, Kedron Dells was in fantastic shape, and we had a stellar turnout with 155 golfers!
We were joined by our friends from the Oshawa Generals to sign autographs for the kids prior to the tournament, as well as 2 Toronto Argonaut cheer leaders for those looking for a photo opportunity. Prior to the tee off we were ushered off with a few words from the Mayor, John Henry.
Following golf, the players were treated to a fantastic meal as we handed out prizes and continued to raise additional funds through a Silent Auction. It turned out to be a late night by time the festivities were wrapped up, but it was certainly enjoyed by all of the participants. Thanks to generosity of our participants and over 35 hole and prize sponsors, we increased our total amount raised from last year by ~$4000 to a total of $14,200!
