Oshawa Generals Partnership Announcement
Submitted By President on Friday, April 5, 2019
The board for the Oshawa Minor Hockey Association is excited to announce a new partnership with the Oshawa Generals, of the Ontario Hockey League. The aim of this partnership is to strengthen the ties between minor hockey in the City of Oshawa and its storied OHL franchise.

A cornerstone of this partnership involves a complete rebranding of the Oshawa Minor Hockey Association which will no longer be known as the “Minor Generals” but simply as the “Oshawa Generals”.

This re-branding includes using jerseys which are OMHA/OHF compliant replicas of the Oshawa Generals Jerseys used in the OHL. Further, our players will have the opportunity to purchase and wear the same apparel which is supplied to the OHL players as well as additional exclusive items which will only be sold to members of Oshawa Minor Hockey Association.

The Oshawa Generals Store will now become the exclusive supplier to Oshawa Minor Hockey Association teams. The Generals will host post try-out fittings similar to past practices in order to keep the process familiar for our members. Following the fittings, core team apparel purchases will be made via a password protected website set up by the Generals exclusively dedicated to Oshawa Minor Hockey Association players and coaches. In addition to the core items offered to players/coaches, all members will receive a discount on purchases for non-core items from the Oshawa Generals main store or web-store. Details regarding fitting times, locations and team apparel items will be made available shortly.

We look forward to your support as we mark this exciting new chapter for minor hockey in the City of Oshawa.
