Bantam AAA - 2019 Oshawa Challenge Winners
The steady growth of this 2005 born AAA team continues.

The steady growth of this 2005 born AAA team continued this weekend with a 6-0 record. 21 goals for, and 4 against. Three shutouts for Braeden Derks (43) who got better as the weekend wore on. Yenry Jibb (4) led the tournament with six goals.

 

In the Oshawa Challenge Final the Bantam AAA Gens played a complete game winning 3 – 0 versus a very formidable foe and Durham Region rival Ajax-Pickering Raiders, (Currently ranked #18 in Ontario). Our boys improved their season record to 18-9-7 this season after the tournament; now 21-9-7 (as of Nov 24th).

The team followed up the tournament success with a 3-0 record in league play outscoring their opponents 22-5 including a 3-2 win against the 1st place Quinte Red Devils Sunday night.

 

We play most home games on Friday nights at Delpark Homes Centre and we welcome hockey fans young and old. 

 

We’d like to thank all the friends, families and Oshawa Minor players and coaches who stopped by to watch the tournament championship game Sunday. It’s even more fun when it’s buzzing. 

 

Congrats to the Atom AAA team for winning their age group and to theMinorPeeWee AAA who made it to the finals.
