Minor Midget AAA Get A Golden Opportunity
The Oshawa MNP Minor Midget AAA team is playing
for the OMHA GOLD MEDAL Championship!!!!!
The young men have put it all on the line this weekend and did what many "outsiders" thought they could not do. But they haven't paid attention to the odds, instead, just went out and tried to beat them. Now, they are one win away from an OMHA Championship. The GOLDEN opportunity will come tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 PM, down the 401 in Belleville, at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Center on the CAA Pad. Their opponent will be the highly ranked Quinte Red Devils for a one game showdown for the RED HATS. With their success this weekend, they have also punched their ticket into the prestigious OHL Cup Tournament. This is a qualifying tournament and the final Minor Midget AAA Tournament of the season, featuring the top 20 teams in Ontario, along with 2 U.S. teams. This will run from March 17th to 23rd in Toronto, finishing up the season about 10 days before the OHL Draft. But...first things first...lets go hunt for the 'GOLDEN' egg.
