The third time was a charm in the ETA Finals for the Rockbrune Bros Movers Minor Peewee AAA Generals.   The exciting 2nd game was capped with a late game winner - with just 2.2 seconds on the clock - giving the Gens a 2-1 victory and a two-game Finals sweep over the rival Peterborough Petes. Congratulations to the entire team on a fantastic finish to the season!!

The Rockbrune Bros Movers Minor Peewee AAA Generals reached the ETA finals for the 3rd time in 4 years by outlasting the Quinte Red Devils in a tough 3 game series - winning games 1 and 3 at home to move on to the finals.   The Gens await the winner of the Peterborough / York-Simcoe series, before beginning the ETA finals next week!

The Rockbrune Bros. Movers Minor Peewee AAA Generals look to start their new year in style with a trip to Ann Arbor to compete in the Super Series Border Battle - a tournament featuring 4 of the top 16 teams in the US - with the Gens having the opportunity to face 3 of these teams. The tournament opens on Friday morning (Jan 2) with a morning match-up against the Milwaukee Admirals, and Friday afternoon features a game against the US #16 Chicago Fury. Coming off of a tough tournament where the team saw some good first weekend improvement, the Minor Gens now travel to Boston to face off with some American competition! The Gens will have the opportunity to face 2 of the Top 10 teams in the US from last season as part of a 5 game schedule in the Boston area. On Friday morning, the Gens will kick things off with the Boston Jr. Terriers before facing last year's US #4 team the Boston Jr. Eagles in their afternoon game. The Rockbrune Bros. Movers Minor Peewee AAA Minor Generals started their season with a tough set of tests in the Toronto Marlboros International Friendship Tournament. Thursday evening, the Gens came out flat in the 1st period falling behind 3-0, and despite outshooting the Rangers in the 3rd, were unable to capitalize and dropped the opener 4-0.
