Z Mores made 25 saves for the shutout and stole the clinching game for the Gens after a start that resembled "shinny hockey". J King opened the scoring early in the second, but the Gens couldn't find their step until a critical turnover by the Nighthawks lead to C Davies goal and a 2-0 Gens lead. After that goal the Gens found their legs and eventually pumped 34 shots at the Northumberland goalie. C Lucifora added an insurance marker in the 3rd to lock up the win and the series. M Booker, J Grootoonk, M Dearborn, Z Mores, J King, and I McKay all head assists in the victory.
