The Gens secured their spot in the Lakeshore semi-finals with a solid 5-2 win over the undermanned Quinte West Hawks. The Gens came out quickly, with M Dearborn scoring just a minute into the game. The Hawks would tie it later in the 1st, and there was no more scoring until the 3rd. C Davies tallied a short handed goal seconds into the 3rd period and then C Lucifora and I McKay added goals to make it 4-1. After Quinte West made it 4-2, I McKay deposited his second of the game into the empty net to seal the game. C Davies, B Lesperance, R Kieley, S Whitters, J King, and M Dearborn each added assists in the win.
