BANTAM AE WINS GOLD AGAIN!
Another
fabulous tournament for our boys. This weekend the Bantam AE team competed in
the Bradford Blue & Gold tournament.
With a great start to our games on Friday; the team won 6-0 in the morning and 4-0 in the afternoon while Saturday afternoon saw a 5-1 win put them into the Semi Finals in 1st place. The evening game was a harder fought battle but they were able to hold onto a 3-2 win and a place in the Championship game. Sunday was a frosty early morning and our boys came ready to play the gold medal game. Great focus, never standing still and well over 100 passes, had our boys dominating the final game, winning 8-0. Congratulations to the Bantam AE team, their goalies for the 3 shut-outs, the forwards for their tenacity and creative passes, the defensemen for their strength and force in our zone.
