Tournament Champions
A great start to a new season! With many returning players and some new players, the Bantam AE team connected well during their first tournament.
Friday night’s game was a tough battle, losing 4-3 to the Stouffville Clippers. The next 2 games saw the players work hard and play well as a team to beat their opponents 3-0 both games, advancing them to the A Finals early on Sunday morning. Meeting the Stouffville Clippers for the Final, the boys had something to prove. Down 2-0 early in the 2nd period, we saw our boys rally back and come together with well over 100 passes, gritty aggressive play and they returned with 4 unanswered goals in the 3rd period! Congratulations Bantam AE for becoming the Justin Williams Bantam AE Champions!
