Bantam AE, U15, 2016-2017 (Oshawa Minor Hockey)

Last week, our Oshawa Minor Generals Bantam AE team relished the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be treated like kings.  They were driven in the official team bus of the OHL’s Oshawa Generals (courtesy of the Oshawa Minor Hockey Association), on their way to the Air Canada Centre (ACC) in Toronto. 

Last Saturday the Oshawa Minor Generals AE Bantam squad teamed up with the Durham Regional Police (DRP), and donated toys to help bring smiles to Durham children in need this holiday season. 

Read it, see it, and believe it!  They came.  They saw.  They conquered.  In an epic trip to Toronto, Ontario – Hockey Centre of the Universe, our home town Oshawa Minor Generals faced off on one of the NHL’s premier stages – the Air Canada Centre’s main ice, and home of the legendary Toronto Maple Leafs.  Sponsored by sportswear corporate giant, Under Armour, the Gens played shoulder to shoulder with the AAA York Simcoe Express, walking away with top prize in a highly competitive province-wide hockey challenge of nearly 100 teams!   Click on the following link to see captured moments of ...

Congratulations to our mighty Oshawa Minor Gens AE team, who triumphed among five teams last Sunday, to win the 2nd Period of the Toronto Maple Leafs Under Armour “Storm the Centre” Challenge!  The troops now move onto the Air Canada Centre (ACC) for the 3rd and final Period of the challenge where they spend a day learning and interacting with Maple Leaf hockey experts and NHL professionals in all aspects of the game – including: on-ice/off-ice, nutrition and fitness activities.

Congratulations to our Oshawa Minor Generals Bantam AE Team!  They brought the house down and rocked the points in the provincial Toronto Maple Leafs Under Armour Challenge.  With a top place finish, and accumulating just a hair under maximum points, they exhibited the sole, style, skills and the strength of commitment, heart and character needed to move on to the Second Period of the Challenge!
