Oshawa MHA Mentor Role - Accepting Applications
Submitted By Development on Wednesday, March 22, 2017
Oshawa Minor Generals Hockey Club is accepting applications for the positions of Mentor to work with coaches in our development program. Application link

This groundbreaking program, among the first of its kind in Canada, follows a European club model in that it establishes specific segment plans and skills/tactics inventories for all ages and levels as well as determines the nature of what is done in practice from tyke (age 7) to major bantam (age 14).

Mentors are hired to assist coaches in the program’s implementation, be a resource for coaches, and provide them with feedback on how to provide the best quality teaching. Mentors will be trained by the Lead Mentor and will be answerable to the Oshawa Minor Generals board, specifically the VP.
