Today was a very proud day for Oshawa Minor Hockey!!!

The OHL held their Priority Selection Draft today and 7 players from our Minor Midget AAA team were selected!!!!

We would like to congratulate the following players on being selected:

Carson Christy was selected by the Mississauga Steelheads in the 2nd round, 38th overall.

Nathan Poole was selected by the Kingston Frontenacs in the 3rd round, 54th overall.

Gage Heyes was selected by the Kingston Frontenacs in the 5th round 85th overall.

Chazz Nixon was selected by the Flint Firebirds in the 5th round, 96th .

Blake Smith was selected by the Oshawa Generals in the 7th round, 121st.

William Moore was selected by the Kingston Frontenacs in the 11th round, 205th

Luke Torrance was selected by the Oshawa Generals in the 11th round, 213th overall.

Christy, Poole, Nixon, Smith, and Torrance have been with the Oshawa AAA team for 9 years!!!  Heyes for 7 years and Moore for 3 years.  What an accomplishment for all these young men, and for the entire Minor Midget AAA team this season.  Again congratulations to all these players and Good Luck with your future hockey teams.
