Oshawa Graduate Receives OHF Award
Submitted By Lynn Jennings on Friday, July 2, 2021
Oshawa Minor would like to congratulate our current Referee in Chief, Brad Upton, for receiving the OHF Officiating Program Award!

Brad grew up in Oshawa and played his minor hockey here. He began officiating in 1979 and has continued to do so ever since.

"He has represented the OMHA at the Branch Level and the OHF at the National Level and has been a long-time contributor to the OMHA Officiating Program where his guidance and expertise have helped assist in the development of on ice officials. Brad is currently the Chair of the OMHA Officiating Program Membership Committee and is also an Active HCOP Clinic Facilitator, Speak Out Facilitator, active member of the OMHA Referee Technical Committee, liaison for the OMHA ETA, and is the current playdown assignor for this league and he manages the OMHA AAA Minor Midget Showcase."

Congrats again, Brad!
