Minor Bantam A Wins Early Bird Tournament in Ajax
OSHAWA MINOR GENERALS BANTAM A WIN the Ajax "Break The Ice" Early Bird hockey tournament Sept 11th - 13th, 2015.

The Oshawa Minor General Bantam A team participated in the Ajax "Break The Ice" Early Bird hockey tournament Sept 11th - 13th, 2015.

The goal for the Oshawa team was to team build and get ready for the upcoming season getting to know their new teammates. Their first game of the season was on Thursday evening that resulted in a 4-2 loss against the host Ajax Knights.

The team proceeded to follow-up with back to back wins on Friday, 4-2 against the Credit Valley Wolves and 3-0 against the Toronto Shamrocks. They continued their momentum into Saturday with a resounding 9-0 win over the Pickering Panthers.

We went into the semi finals on Sunday with a difficult task at hand, playing the Innisfil Winterhawks. It was a competitive back and forth game that ended in a 3-2 win in a shootout.  This lined up Oshawa to re-match the Ajax Knights in the Finals of the Tournament.  It was a hard fought game from both teams and in the end the Oshawa Minor Bantam A won the Championship 2-1!

Congratulations to all the players, coaches and families for a fun weekend of hockey. Great way to start the season!
