On Thursday April 14, The Midget AAA team had their 1st skate. We have had a tremendous response and are looking forward to a great season.
If the response we have received to this point is any indication, the 2016/17 Oshawa Midget AAA season is going to be a great one. With 27 players already registered and 14 skaters and 3 goaltenders coming out to our first night, I am excited for what lies ahead. There were a number of players that were at local Jr A camps and unable to attend so our 2nd night is shaping up to be even better.
It is great to get to evaluate the Oshawa players first and see the local talent prior to the borders opening up in August. This will give us the opportunity focus our recruitment drive and assemble a great team.
If you live in Oshawa, or played for the Minor Generals last season and are interested in playing Midget AAA hockey, you can still register and come out to the next 2 spring skates.
