Tuesday Night Battle..... 3-2 Loss vs North Durham
What a Tuesday night game. Both teams came to play, and play they did.
North Durham with a lucky bounce got on the score board first. Oshawa in the 2nd period with a goal from Matteo tied things up at 1. North Durham took another lead early in the 3rd period. Our boys kept coming with the pressure and fight. Logan tied things up with 3:34 left to play in the period. A late penalty put us on the defence and, we were unable to contain our own end. With 1:10 left North Durham scored on the PP.
Oshawa pulled the goalie and put the pressure on, but time just ran out.
Both teams battled hard. Oshawa out shot the visitors 24 - 19, a bad bounce here and penalty there and that was all North Durham needed.
The boys are back at it with 2 development skates tonight and tomorrow and then a weekend off for some well needed rest as they get ready for a home rematch with Whitby on Monday, November 7th. Boys will then be heading to London for their first tournament November 11-13.
