4 Game losing Streak SNAPPED!!! 5-3 Win
It was a rematch against our old rivals from Whitby. Whitby took the first game of the season 5-0 and we were out for revenge. This time it was on our home ice and we Protect This House!!!
The boys came to play tonight. We were off and running right out of the gate with speed and pressure that was unstoppable.
Roman got us on the board in the 1st with an unassisted goal. 1-0 after 1.
Whitby got even in the 2nd with an early goal. Our boys came right back with 2 goals lead b y Emmett and Mason giving us the 3-1 lead. Whitby came back with a goal to make it 3-2. We kept up the pressure and you could see the frustration in Whitby, as they were having a hard time containing our forecheck. Jaxon and Reese give us the 5-2 lead into the third.
Whitby came at us in the 3rd, but was too little too late, as our boys just kept going and would not let them get anymore.
5-3 final and we have snapped the losing streak. Oshawa out shot Whitby 42 - 18.
Up next we are off to London. ON for the Jr Knights Green & White tournament this weekend. Great way to head into a tournament.
