FOOD DRIVE
Minor Midget AAA hosting community food drive for local organizations

Hello Everyone,

Our Oshawa Midget AAA Team are wanting to give back to our community in the way of hosting a community food drive during our next 3 Home Games. We would like to help people and families in need during this Holiday Season.

Here are our next 3 games:

Wednesday December 5th vs North Central @ 8:30 pm at Legends Center Pd. 1
Wednesday December 12th vs Clarington @ 8:30 pm at Legends Center Pd. 1
Wednesday December 19th vs Central @ 8:30 pm at Legends Center Pd. 1

We will have at table set up to collect donations at these games. We are hoping to collect 1-2 non perishable food items per game.

Please ask family and friends to come out and support the our Team and our community.

Here are the details of the 2 places we will be helping and what the needed items are. Please note that if anyone brings canned food to make sure it will not expire within 6 months.

1. The Refuge - (Drop in center for homeless youth in Oshawa). Their most needed items this year are DRT bus tickets, gift cards to No frills, can openers, cans of coffee/tea.

2. Simcoe Hall Settlement House ( A not for profit community resource center dedicated to aiding and improving the lives of less advantaged children, families and vulnerable adults)

All items collected will be delivered before Christmas.

Thanking you in advance for your support!!! If you have any questions please email me at [email protected].
