Markham Waxers 6 at Oshawa Generals 2
The Gens got off to slow start on Sunday afternoon and couldn't recover - falling to the Waxers 6-2
The Waxers score 3 goals in the first six minutes and the Gens were unable to recover momentum throughout the remainder of the game - eventually falling 6-2.
After surrendering the first 3 goals, C Peterson scored on the power play late in the first, with assist going to M Hutchings and P Couvillon.
Despite a second period surge, the Gens were only able to add one more goal to answer an early Markham goal, when E Blouin zipped home a nice feed from E Lepage with M Bradica drawing the second assist.
The third period saw Markham add two late goals to complete the scoring.
T Turcotte made 17 saves in the loss.
