Oshawa Cup Champions!
Congratulations to the Oshawa Minor Generals, Minor Bantam AE team who have won the Oshawa Cup. The Oshawa Minor Generals defeated the Barrie Colts 4-2 in the Oshawa Cup semi-final, and then went on to hand the Brampton 45's their first defeat of the tournament, beating Brampton 3-1 in a tight match-up in the cup-final.
Congrats to the team on a great win and outstanding performances from their dynamic duo of goaltenders, their rock solid defense, and their powerhouse of attacking forwards who took the game to their opponents.
The team overcame every challenge they encountered, filling gaps wherever needed and never took their feet off the accelerator to take home gold medals...and win the Cup! Excellent start to the season and congrats again to our very own hometown Minor Gens!
