Six straight periods of keeping opponents off the scoreboard, and the Oshawa Minor Generals AE Bantam team now have their second shutout in as many games...and, their 10th straight game without a loss in league play!
Oshawa pelted the Whitby Wildcats with numerous shots and forechecking as our attacking Generals maintained dominant forward pressure, against the Wildcats throughout the game. With only one of Oshawa's shower of shots on net getting through, our rock-solid defensive core sealed off the Oshawa zone and ensured that the puck remained in the Whitby end. Gens goal tending was on high alert, covering with razor sharp reaction and swift moves to snuff out all Wildcat threats.
All together, the result was a nail biting 1-0 victory, moving the Gens up in the standings to second place!
