Keeping the Streak Alive
The Oshawa Minor Generals stretched their undefeated streak to five games since it all began during their electrifying Oshawa Cup, gold medal performance.
The Gens, despite being down six skaters, held the 3rd place Northumberland Nighthawks to a 2-2 draw in a "see-saw" battle that could have gone either way. Nevertheless, our determined and resilient Gens, added another point to their season total thanks to some key goalie saves, defensive maneuvers and goal scoring.
As they continue their quest to climb in the standings, the Gens are locked in and have the Nighthawks clearly in their sight.
