Hitting the Bulls Eye!
In their second encounter with Belleville this season, the
Oshawa Minor Generals, Minor Bantam AE team improved from their previous 2-2
tie against the raging Bulls, to a dominant 6-2 win against them. No amount of snorting could get the better of
our Gens, who stomped their own way to a decisive 6-2 victory last Thursday in
what proved to be the start of a successful weekend for Oshawa, against previously
troublesome teams.
Concrete back-stopping and firm defensive prowess kept the Gens’ zone tightly secure. Break-aways, assists and sniper-like shooting generated scoring opportunities and goals from all forward lines. Marksman-like passing and play-making from some forwards generated a multi-point/multi-goal night for other forwards. The win was an impressive lop-sided result in favour of the Gens. It came from great teamwork on the night, extending their undefeated streak to six games! GO GENS GO!
