Andre Tremblay made 30 saves and Ben Lesperance scored twice to lead the Gens past the Toros in a critical late season game on Saturday night. After a tentative start, the Gens took advantage of some early Toro penalties as Lesperance and Brayden Farrow scored power play goals 37 seconds apart to give the Gens a 2-0 lead. The Toros would make it 2-1 late in the 1st. After a scoreless 2nd period, Lesperance provided an insurance marker, and the eventual game winner with a bank shot past the Toro goalie. The Toros scored late to make it close, but the Gens worked hard to seal the victory and earn a critical 2 points.
